Well, mommy is...Daddy is in Maui enjoying himself with all of his band homies. Meanwhile, Ava and mommy are enjoying a lot of girl time. It's been really nice spending all of that quality time together. We've even been a little wild. Last night, I bought my favorite salmon dinner with all the fixings complete with my own little pint of ice-cream and 6-pack of Thomas Kemper Root beer (and I'm gonna drink it all before daddy gets home-- watch out!). Ava's also enjoyed sleeping in bed with Mommy. It's so nice to snuggle up with her little sleepy body =o)
Well, I've been slacking. It is currently way past Ava's bedtime and I haven't even given her a bath. I'm gonna try and pick my lazy butt off the computer. Back to my mommy duty's!

i ordered pizza, bread sticks, and soda for dinner last night. also, i am currently compiling a list of ways thomas can make friday up to me (the longest, sickest day of my life) :) haha- so it sounds like we are all coping with our losses in different ways... yours a little more positively :)
my husband CHOOSES to leave, it's been a while, but he got bit by the travel bug long ago, and it is in his blood. now i try to force him to take us all along...and i would always stay at my parent's house when he was gone. it sucks to have an absent husband.
aaw i can't wait to sleep with my baby girl in the bed. =) i'm not even sure what i need right now - besides the bassinet, i don't really have anything! i'm getting a lot of recommendations from other moms on good items to have... i'll have to do some research. =) my goal is to try not to buy clothes, but "borrow" from other people! haha! i know they out grow the clothes so fast that's why. lots of people have offered to give us clothes, it's so wonderful. anyway, many blessings to you and ava while daddy is gone!! love you guys. =)
